A new way of life with Vidda Pro Trousers

A dependable pair of trousers will be one of your most trusted companions as you spend time in nature. With them you will create – and collect – many outdoor memories. We spoke with outdoor enthusiast Anja Robanke to explore her own experiences with trousers.

It all started when Anja travelled from her home in Denmark to Iceland for the first time five years ago. The experience opened the door to a new way of living. The outdoors, travel and nature photography have now become a central part of her everyday life. 

A year-and-a-half ago, she sold everything, moved into a camper van, and today lives her van life completely as she wants to. 

When she started spending do much of her days outside however, she soon discovered the benefits of quality outdoor clothing. Today she hardly uses anything else. She is especially fond of her Vidda Pro Trousers. Hardwearing and weather-resistant, they are made from G-1000; a core material for Fjällräven. They are also reinforced over areas like the rear and knees, which Anja appreciates:

“The best thing about my Vidda Pro Trousers are the pockets for knee pads. When I take photographs, I am constantly on the ground, and move up and down, so my knees take a beating. During my first trip to Iceland, I didn’t have knee pads. When I got home with my legs all bashed and bruised, somebody told me that I can insert knee pads into the pants. A dream come true! Now I can’t go without them.”

This summer, Anja hopes to travel to Iceland again. Joining her are her four pairs of Vidda Pro Trousers…including knee pads.
